Administration Lead 

Gail comes to Health Zone with a background in banking, real estate and 12 years as executive director in the non-profit sector, as a business consultant and project manager.  She has experience in program creation, administration processes, strategic re-engineering and change management projects.  As an effective leader she believes strongly in the power of collaboration, teamwork and collective passion, Gail is excited to represent and help lead this amazing team of health care providers through the OHT Systems Transformational process.  


Clinical Lead/ Nurse Practitioner 

Maureen holds a Master of Nursing degree from Athabasca University. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 14 years and is a graduate of Western. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Maureen worked as a Public Health Nurse, a nurse in acute care and a Nursing Educator at Fanshawe College. Maureen has a passion working with individuals and families to increase their capacity for self management and to enhance overall wellness. 


Nurse Practitioner 

Mia completed her clinical training at Western University and was recognized as the top BScN in Ontario. Since that time, she has been practicing in primary care in London; and also has focused practices in HIV PrEP and hepatitis B and C care. Mia received her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University, with postdoctoral fellowships at Toronto General Research Institute and the National Microbiology Laboratory. Her current research focuses on increasing access to HIV, hepatitis B and C screening through alternative diagnostic and systems approaches. She is especially interested in increasing screening uptake and linkage to care among prenatal, pediatric, gay and bisexual men, and street-involved populations. She has received numerous awards to support her research including from organizations such as CIHR, NSERC and CanHepC.  Mia holds faculty appointments at Western and McMaster Universities, and teaches in the Ontario-wide primary care NP training program; as well as precepts nurse practitioner students.  


Nurse Practitioner 

Robyn joined Health Zone as a Nurse Practitioner in August 2019. Prior to this she worked at the Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic in Peterborough. She graduated in August of 2017 from the Masters of Nursing & Nurse Practitioner program at Athabasca University. She previously worked as an RN for 12 years, and Clinical Nurse Specialist for 1 year in Obstetrics at LHSC. Robyn has an interest in health promotion, as well as women’s health and pediatrics.  Robyn enjoys spending time being physically active outside, and volunteers as a Nurse Practitioner at a girls camp in the summer.

Nurse Practitioner 

Carrie has worked in primary care as a Nurse Practitioner since 2007 in both rural and urban settings. A registered nurse since 1986, she has worked in various areas including palliative care, women’s health, med/surgery & geriatrics.  Areas of interest include chronic pain & geriatrics. She holds a specialty certificate in the management of chronic pain through Stanford University. Outside interests include nature, painting, music & travel. 


Nurse Practitioner 

Allison graduated from the BScN program in 1987 from the University of Windsor. From there she entered directly into Public Health where she has spent her entire career. She has worked in many programs in Public Health and has extensive community health experience including the communities of Iqaluit Nunavut. She returned to the University of Windsor in 1995 and graduated from the, then new, Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Her specialties include community community public health and sexual health. She has always had a draw to see people where they are at. Becoming a team member of Health Zone is a new and exciting career change for her. Outside of work interests include family, travel, her book club and a recent challenge of adult tap dancing lessons. 


Registered Nurse 

Shannon graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in 2004, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2007. As a transplant from the GTA, Shannon found London to be the perfect compromise between big- and small-city living, so upon graduation, she officially made London her “home”.  As a Registered Nurse, Shannon has had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of healthcare settings. From 2007 to 2009, Shannon worked as an RN in the General Surgery Unit at University Hospital. In 2009, Shannon transitioned to a role as RN at Telehealth Ontario. From 2010 to 2019, Shannon worked as an RN in a busy dermatology office/clinical research facility.  Shannon happily joined Health Zone in December 2019. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and tackling DIY projects. 


Registered Nurse

Natalie graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Western University in 2017. Natalie has been with the clinic since 2018, in office she is available to complete phlebotomy, cryotherapy treatments, minor office procedures, immunizations and chronic disease follow up in coordination with the Nurse Practitioners. Additionally Natalie is available to clients who are interested in enrolling in the STOP program for smoking cessation.

Community Health Worker 

Tagreed is very passionate about community work and quality health care.  After completing her master’s degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences –specialized in Health Promotion from Western University, Tagreed worked as a group facilitator serving women and families. Gaining valuable experience and insights she was then a youth worker where she enjoyed working with youth of all backgrounds and ages. Combining a passion for community, healthy living and health promotion led to a community heath worker position at Health Zone Nurse Practitioner –Led Clinic. In her free time, Tagreed loves and enjoys baking, long hikes in the autumn, family and friends, especially her husband and daughter. 


Respiratory Therapist



Medical Office Administrator

Tammy joined the Health Zone team as a Medical Office Assistant in 2016. She brought with her 6 years of experience working as a Personal Support Worker in long term care and the community of Middlesex and West Elgin. She spent three years leading an adult day program offering activities in the support of individual mental and physical well being. Tammy is currently an active participant of the Health Zon'es Quality Improvement Plan Committee and in 2019 she transitioned into her new role as Medical Office Administrator. When not at work, Tammy enjoys creating crafts and keepsakes for family and friends, singing and spending quality time with her cat Joshua,


Medical Office Assistant 

Amanda completed her Medical Office Assistant diploma at Medix College in 2005. She has worked at the London Regional Cancer Program, Pediatric Oncology, Sleep Medicine and was also the Program Administrator for Respirology.  She also has certificates in Health Records Management, Hospital Ward Clerk and Computer Application Support. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, reading, camping and playing volleyball and baseball in her spare time.
